The aim of Anaheim Stories is to collect the personal experiences and recollections of our city’s residents in the form of written, visual and auditory storytelling. The variety of narrators and topics discussed will reflect the diversity of the city’s population and provide open opportunities for community members to share their unique, individual experiences. These collective stories will provide new insight to historically significant community topics by capturing the smaller moments that are often overlooked in the everyday lives of people who have lived and worked in Anaheim. The larger goals of this project aims at preserving our history while creating a community that is invested in the process of collecting these individual perspectives regarding our families, professions, interests, and neighborhoods.

We truly believe that preserving these unique stories is a crucial step to understanding the heart and spirit of our community.
